WeldWerks Brewing Double Chocolate Medianoche 2021 Stout - 50 CL

This particular lot of Medianoche barrels, aged for 24 months in 5-6 year old high-rye MGP bourbon barrels, exhibited such a rich, complex chocolate character that they cried out for an enormous infusion of even more real chocolate. So, working with one of our favorite chocolate producers in Colorado, the brewers conditioned the finished beer on Belizean, Guatemalan, and Mexican cacao nibs from Cultura Chocolate in Denver. To further accentuate the chocolate character, the brewers used just a hint of Congolese vanilla beans, resulting in a blend that expresses notes of milk chocolate chips, dark chocolate mousse, brownie batter, and cocoa-dusted truffles.
