Tynt Meadow Trappist - 33 CL

Trappist beers are usually named after the location of the monastery. We named ours 'Tynt Meadow' to honor the link with the piece of land where monastic life was re-established here in the Midlands almost two centuries ago. As part of the great Trappist tradition, the brewers chose to produce a strong dark beer, but one with a distinct English character. Tynt Meadow is mahogany-colored, with a subtle, warm red hue and a lasting beige head. The aroma contains hints of dark chocolate, licorice and rich fruit flavors. The beer is full-bodied and gently balances the taste of dark chocolate, pepper and fig. It leaves a warm and dry aftertaste in the mouth.
