Tommie Sjef Sprong 2020 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Sprong is a blend of wild ales, aged for approximately 2.5 years in oak puncheons (500 liters), and a barrel-fermented and aged saison beer. This saison was fermented in a large oak vat and later transferred to oak barriques (225L) for another 6 months. Before the two parts were blended, the saison was lightly dry-hopped for another 3 months. We added a hint of Sicilian sage to the final blend to macerate for a few days before bottling.
