Stu Mostów Midnight Maple Stout - 33 CL

We prepared a blend of two Imperial Stouts from our Barrel Room. We combined an imperial stout that aged for over 2 years (28 months) in Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels with a double mash stout that aged for almost a year (10 months) in Jim Beam and Wild Turkey barrels. Both beers are intense, strong, and thick. In one, the brewers used a huge amount of malt and boiled it for a long time to achieve a high extract, while in the other, the brewers used the "double mash" technique.
