For this special X-mas blend, our brewmaster selects between barrel-aged Quadrupel on the one hand, and young Quadrupel on the other. The tannins from the barrels form a harmonious whole with the rich tones of the special malts in the Quadrupel beer. The combination of the wood-aged flavor and the young Quadrupel beer creates a unique and powerful blend. Thanks to bottle re-fermentation, the taste evolves year after year.
