Straffe Hendrik Tripel 9 - 33 CL

Straffe Hendrik is a Bitter Tripel Ale with 9% alc. The beer originated in Bruges and was brewed in Bruges by Brewery De Halve Maan. In 1981, Henri Maes and his daughter Véronique responded to the mayor's request and created a strong blonde beer for the inauguration of the statue of Saint Arnold, the patron saint of all brewers. However, the beer became so popular that demand for it continued. It was named Straffe Hendrik because it was a rich and powerful beer. Today, Straffe Hendrik is the last authentic Tripel Ale from Bruges.
