Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel, launched in 2010, is an intense beer, dark in color and full of flavor. The aroma is elegant, spicy and slightly toasted. The refined mix of special malts gives the beer a complex character and combines a delicate dryness with hints of coriander, dark fruit, anise and roasted chestnuts. The taste ends in a syrupy taste. Refermentation in the bottle creates a living beer that will evolve over the years. Straffe Hendrik Quadrupel finds chocolate to be an excellent partner when it comes to food pairing.
