Limited edition - Barrel Aged Selection #5. TAWNY PORT & LAMBAY WHISKEY BARRELS. Our barley wine 'Don Aart' matured for 12 months in a barrel from distillery Beek, which first held Tawny Port and then their whisky. It was then blended with Don Aart from separate Lambay whiskey and port barrels. The scent is dominated by the Beek whisky with warm caramel notes and a hint of red fruit from the port. The taste is full-bodied, layered, and powerful – without sharp edges – with an exciting balance between malt, whisky warmth, and fruity softness.
