Limited edition - Barrel Aged Selection #5. TAWNY PORT & LAMBAY WHISKEY BARRELS. Our barley wine 'Don Aart' matured for 12 months in a barrel from Beek distillery, which first held Tawny Port and then their whiskey. Afterwards, it was blended with Don Aart from separate Lambay whiskey and port barrels. The aroma is dominated by Beek whiskey with warm caramel notes and a hint of red fruit from the port. The taste is full-bodied, layered, and powerful – without any harsh edges – with an exciting balance between malt, whiskey warmth, and fruity softness.
