The abbey yeast combined with rye, wheat, and roasted malts creates a complex bouquet of dark dried fruits: plums, dates, rum raisins, and a hint of hazelnut. The drink is dry and elegant, leaving a wine-like impression. The 8.5% ABV is pleasantly integrated.
