Revisiting our collaborative and experimental release with Half Acre Beer Co., the brewers allowed the sweetest, most dynamic components to age an additional year in Wild Turkey Russell bourbon barrels. This "deconstructed stout" was separated into pale and dark components, allowing the pale ale malts to age without the antioxidant properties of the dark malts, creating a very special aged stout with the soul of a very special aged barley.
