This continent-spanning collaboration was aged for twelve months in Whistlepig Estate Rye whiskey barrels with added single-origin French oak, and finished Sur Lie for another six months in freshly dumped French oak Red Wine Barrels from Herman Story Wines. A swirl of wine, oak-derived cherry, vanilla, smoke, and deranged earth emerges from a swollen glass, our most oak-focused beer yet. "Why are you all sitting on your helmets?" (Note: The can reads ABV as 16.5%. The correct ABV is 14%.)
