Imperial Smoked Plum & Pepper Baltic Porter, 27°Blg Just like last year, our first new beer in 2024 is the Bałtycki Porter in its imperial version. This beer, specially brewed for Baltic Porter Day 2024, will premiere during the event at Same Krafty vis-à-vis. Baltic Blaze was aged on smoked Hungarian plums (Suska Sechlońska) and Mulato chili peppers. Mulato chili peppers bring notes of chocolate, licorice, and subtle hints of cherries and tobacco. Unlike many Mexican peppers, Mulato is actually considered very mild on the heat scale. Most people can consume it similarly to bell peppers, without experiencing too much heat. Suska Sechlońska enriches Baltic Blaze with fruity notes, reminiscent of dried Christmas Eve and plum jam, and adds expressive smoked tones. The combination of bell pepper and smoked plums gives the beer an interesting new dimension.
