Phase Three Hugs 2024 Stout - 35 CL

A little after brewing Kentucky Hugs Barleywine, the brewers thought of an idea to combine it with a stout. When I started brewing, I was absolutely fascinated by the stouts and barleywines coming out of the wonderful city that is Chicago. For this project, I wanted to create a linked set that could introduce people to our barrel program. These beers are meant to be a bit more subdued, a little lighter on the palate, more approachable for a novice drinker, but still highly appreciated by our most hardcore fans. This stout is exactly that. Notes of chocolate, vanilla, tobacco, and American whiskey.
