The American-grown Citra hop burst onto the scene with a bang, taking the craft brewing scene by storm with its otherworldly tropical fruit flavor and aroma. Our take on this juicy hop harnesses the best of its exceptional characteristics to create a bold yet balanced IPA. A simple base of British pale malt is colored by small kettle additions of our British and American hop blend for a smooth, fruity bitterness. When it’s time to dry hop, the brewers kick it into high gear with 16kg of Citra across three additions, which the brewers work into the beer for the ultimate juicy, resinous flavor experience and a tropical fruit aroma that will lure your sense of smell from across the room.
