Muifel Brewery She's Fresh Fresh Exciting Lager - 33 CL

This is our first Fresh Hop beer. Very common in America but just starting in the Netherlands: brewing with unprocessed, fresh hops, straight from the field, meaning the freshest hops available. Of course, the brewers once again used local Brabant hops from BrabantHop in Wilbertoord. We brewed with Saphir, a relatively new German hop variety. In the morning, the hops were still on the vines, and in the afternoon, the brewers mixed 20 kg of fresh hops with 1200 liters of wort in our brewing kettles. This beer was brewed with a bottom-fermenting yeast, making it a lager, and the brewers added not only barley malt but also wheat malt and oats for beautiful complex grainy flavors. Cheers!
