Muifel Brewery Galaxy Baltic Porter - 33 CL

Our first porter. Brewed at the request of Mr Hop from Venray - the best webstore for independent craft beer. This classic bottom-fermenting Baltic Porter is brewed with six malts (base malts pale and munich, specialty malts Caramunich 120, Thomas Fawcett Pale Chocolate malt and Brown malt). Oats are added for the creamy mouthfeel. This intriguing malt bill has given both a nice roasty complexity and a beautiful balance. Hop variety is fuggles, added at 60 min and 30 min boil. The name is derived from Martin's childhood addiction. He used to play the stupid shooting game Galaxy on his Commodore64 for at least two hours every day in the 80s. Cheers!
