This powerful Imperial Stout from More Brewing is a masterpiece of barrel-aging: an exceptionally strong base rests for 6 months in Elijah Craig 8-year and Weller 12-year barrels, after which it matures for 18 months in freshly emptied Elijah Craig 12-year barrels. The result is a complex, full-bodied stout with deep notes of vanilla, oak, caramel, and subtle whiskey notes that elegantly come together. At 17.7% ABV, this is an intense and silky beer for true stout lovers.
