Wrench The 4 Elements: Fire Stout - 44 CL

Fire is a non-adjunct stout in collaboration with Crisp Malt. Two heritage malts in this 100% English ingredient stout. Chevallier® Heritage Malt, grown since 1820 and the dominant barley variety in England until the 1920s, is the backbone of many Victorian ales. It brings deep flavours, robust maltiness and a rich marmalade character. Then there’s Plumage Archer® Malt, the first commercially produced barley cross, which had a similar impact on brewing as Chevallier. In this brew, both malts are used in equal parts. We’ve also added Bramling Cross hops, which give notes of blackberry, spice and wood, and East Kent Goldings hops, which are earthy and slightly bitter, but also have a hint of honey. This beer is quadruple mashed.
