Moersleutel Indulgence 29 Stout - 37.5 CL

This beer started as an experiment in patience. At its core is a low-roasted stout, aged for 13 months in Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels. Time brought soft vanilla, gentle oak, and a warm, rounded structure. Additionally, a barleywine, fermented with an IPA yeast, aged in carefully selected cognac barrels. It added a full, almost syrupy softness with vibrant stone fruit notes of peach and apricot. The cognac barrels bring elegance, layered with notes of marshmallow, vanilla, and soft oak, as if fruit is slowly turning into marmalade. Finished with an imperial stout that matured for 800 days in Wyoming Whisky barrels. The roast softened to toast and nuts, with a sweet, almost jammy warmth reminiscent of sherry. Complex yet perfectly balanced, with notes of stone fruit, dates, vanilla, and yellow fruit marmalade. Beneath lies a contemplative depth, as if walking through an old library, catching the whispers of tobacco and time itself among dusty bookshelves. This beer doesn't shout. It unfolds. Slowly.
