For Indulgence 28, the brewers selected three remarkable bourbon barrels: Sazerac Rye, Weller Wheated, and Eagle Rare. Each bourbon has its own personality, representing a distinct mash bill of rye, wheat, or corn. The Sazerac barrels contribute gentle spice and toasted oak; Weller adds roundness and soft vanilla sweetness; and Eagle Rare offers elegance, warmth, and depth. Together, they create something truly unique. This stout has been aged for 21 months and 24 days, unfolding in layers. From the first pour, Indulgence 28 reveals its character: a dense, velvety stout with aromas of chocolate ganache, fudge, and roasted nuts.
