Port, PX Sherry and Whisky One of our most luxurious, barrel-aged stouts. This blend combines Belgian Stout aged for 27 months in port barrels (raisins, red fruit, walnut), Rye Stout aged for 9 months in PX Sherry barrels from Bodegas Fernández-Gao (caramel, fig, spices) and Multi Grain Wine aged for 22 months in Wyoming whisky barrels (oak, fudge, vanilla warmth). The secret to this beer lies in the extra dimension: a homemade syrup of steamed dried fruits – plums, figs, dates, apricots and peaches – slow-cooked into a velvety compote that seamlessly merges with the barrel character. The result is a rich, layered profile where fortified wine sweetness, sherry spices and bourbon warmth intertwine with dark fruit, toffee and chocolate in an oily body and a long, warming finish.
