This beer is the crown jewel of Moersleutel's 9th anniversary, the ultimate expression of luxury and complexity. We pulled out all the stops for this non-adjunct barrel-aged stout. This beer is aged in two exceptional barrels. The first, originally used not for spirits but for high-quality maple syrup, imparts a deep, salty sweetness that is truly unique. The spicy, slightly smoky character of Sazerac Rye Bourbon barrels, on the other hand, adds depth. Together, they create a beer that is both robust and refined, with a layered complexity that remains surprising. Just as Odysseus returned to confront the suitors, this robust one marks the grand finale of our 9-year brewing journey: powerful, intense, and unmistakably Wrench.
