New Era Oak Cask/Ex Bordeaux Barrel Aged Imperial Stout. Wine Geese, a New Era Oak Casks Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with an ABV of 12%. NEOC Casks are casks brought back to life by France's finest cooperages after a careful and dedicated aging process. These were primarily Bordeaux casks that were refurbished, recharred, and returned to the racks with Irish Whiskey. In other words, these staves carry a history within their fibers. Expect notes of toasted oak, leather, light coffee, and toffee in this exquisitely delicate product, which is slowly matured with great care in our cellar in Sligo Town.
