Lindemans Faro Lambic/Geuze - 25 CL

Lambic is one of the oldest beers in the world. According to some, it is also the best, even if its characteristic acidity doesn't suit all palates. To compensate for this acidity, some decided to add sugar to it. This is how Faro was born. The addition of sugar syrup to lambic was a revelation in Bruegel's time. (Some even claim that without faro, Bruegel would have had no inspiration and would have remained an ordinary amateur painter whose canvases couldn't even have been sold at a flea market.) Until the 19th century, faro was widespread in the Brussels region. Folklore was often associated with it, and the divine liquid flowed like water. Then Faro fell into oblivion. It was only in 1978 that our family brought it back to the forefront. Or center Zenne, as you prefer. Faro is especially appreciated after physical exertion and is not only easy to drink, it's also a pleasure to do so.
