In 1870, Willem Geenen brewed his first beer in the barn next to the eighty-year-old lime tree. In honor of the brewery's 155th anniversary, the brewers are adding a masterpiece to his legacy: Willem's Quadrupel. A top-fermented Quadrupel, brewed in the tradition of Belgian abbey beers with subtle notes of caramel, toffee, dried figs, and a hint of toasted bread. The dark color reveals the deep maltiness, while the refined hop bitterness beautifully balances the whole. After an extra-long maturation in the cool, dark cellars of the brewery, this beer comes to life.
