Kasteel Donker belongs to the Belgian quadrupel family. These are strong dark brown beers where roasted malt dominates. The very first beer from the Kasteel range is a full-bodied beer with notes of caramel, coffee, and chocolate. The sweet initial taste makes this beer surprisingly complex yet very accessible.
