Insights Cellars congruity: moscatel 2022 Lambic/Geuze - 75 CL

Our Congruity series embraces the art of blending and collaboration to create a beer that transcends its individual elements. In May of 2022, the brewers invited our esteemed friends from Bofkont and Tommie Sjef to join us in Copenhagen, bringing with them base beer from what they considered their finest barrels, and the brewers contributed a special blend of our one and two-year-old Danish Wild beer. A methodical blending and tasting session ensued, with the brewers ultimately finding a blend that coherently brings out the best of each of our beers. This portion of the blend was aged for 16 months in Moscatel de Setúbal barrels from Portugal before bottling, infusing the beer with notes of honey, caramel, and citrus.
