Hill Farmstead Double Barrel Aaron: Bourbon/Cognac 2022 Barleywine - 50 CL

Brewed in February of 2019 and rested for nearly two years in specially selected 12-year-old bourbon barrels, the beer found a second home in freshly emptied Cognac barrels for eighteen additional months. After four years of considered husbandry, this beer in the namesake Barleywine-style has achieved unique harmony, refinement, and complexity. Aaron A. Hill (1785-1869) operated the original tavern in North Greensboro upon whose original sign the Hill Farmstead Brewery logo is based.
