Hill Farmstead Double Barrel Aaron: Bourbon/Cognac 2022 Barleywine - 50 CL

Brewed in February 2019 and aged for nearly two years in specially selected 12-year-old bourbon barrels, the beer was given a second stay in freshly run cognac barrels for eighteen additional months. After four years of careful herding, this beer, in its namesake barleywine style, has achieved unique harmony, refinement, and complexity. Aaron A. Hill (1785-1869) operated the original tavern in North Greensboro, on whose original sign the Hill Farmstead Brewery logo is based.
