For Proeftuin #15, the brewers have aged Barrel Aged Proeftuin #14 Tripelhop Bitterfruit in Bourbon barrels. The bitterness of the Triple-hop allows the blonde beer to mature tremendously in wooden barrels, and the well-rounded flavors of the wood and bourbon give this beer a unique and lasting finish. The wood also gives the triple hop a darker color, which contributes to the experience of enhancing a beer's flavor profile by aging it in the barrel. The Tripelhop Bitterfruit was a beautiful addition to the Proeftuin at the beginning of summer. Now the brewers hope you can enjoy the end of summer with this wonderful beer. Enjoy.
