Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is our crowning jewel; the pride of the Hertog Jan brewery. This dark and heavy Hertog Jan beer uses special Hertog Jan malt: a special blend of four types of malt. This gives it a rich, full flavour in which sweet and bitter can be distinguished. Hertog Jan Grand Prestige is one of the few beers that can be aged; its flavour will become richer over the years. After two years of aging, the flavour will begin to change. After many years, the flavour will be comparable to a Port wine.
