Twenty-some freshly dumped Jamaican rum barrels headed for the States led us to a small dose of Amburana barrel stock for its baking spices before coconut and a fruity Marquesas varietal of vanilla. We wanted to drink the islands. Rum drinks, fruit, cherry, bubblegum sprinkled on gooey chocolate stout laffy taffy. Duncan says it's like Elvis singing to you in a Cantonese restaurant and I think he's right.
