Half Acre Catch Hell 2024 Stout - 33 CL

This beer started in our brewery in May 2021. It saw three rounds of spirit-soaked barrels from a host of makers: Knob Creek, Jim Beam, Stagg Jr, Blanton's, Heaven Hill, George Dickel, 18-year Elijah Craig, 10-year Russell Reserve, Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey and Willett Family Reserve Rye with fill dates of June 2021, August 2022, and finally July 2023. Poured hard into an oversized glass, creating a thick head, this bucket tar chokes CO2 and lights up in a malevolent way. It's easy to catch a glimpse of the aroma as soon as you crack open the can. You dig into the glass and are flooded with the foundation of BA stout recipes. Oak, stout, char whiskey, complex malts, burnt sugar and yeast. Drink it down and you'll be drawn into the details that make Catch Hell a legend in our brewery. Cinnamon, dark cherry, nougat, birthday cake, reserve spirit and hard-to-place neural collisions. You'll need to give your friends the stink eye with this one.
