Gulpener Beer from Fresh Hops 2015 Lager - 75 CL

Gulpener Verse Hop is an unfiltered beer brewed with fresh hops from our hop garden in Reijmerstok. The distinct aroma and robust hop bitterness give this beer character. During the second weekend of September 2015, the brewers, along with employees and friends of the brewery, harvested the hops and hand-picked the hop cones from the plants. After harvesting, the brewers immediately began brewing with the fresh hops. At the end of the brewing process and before fermentation, the hop cones were added. The result is this flavorful, unfiltered beer with a full body, a pleasantly hoppy character, and a refined finish. The beer is unfiltered to allow its full flavor characteristics to fully develop.
