The brewers had to do without the Christmas beer for more than 35 years, but in 2002 the tradition was restored with Gouden Carolus Christmas. It is a powerful, dark ruby red beer with character and contains an alcohol percentage of 10.5% alc.vol. The beer is brewed in August and rests for several months to achieve optimal balance. Three types of hops and 6 different types of herbs and spices determine the rich taste of this Christmas beer. Top class!
