For over 35 years, brewers had to do without Christmas beer, but in 2002, the tradition was restored with Gouden Carolus Christmas. It is a powerful, dark ruby-red beer with character and an alcohol percentage of 10.5% alc.vol. The beer is brewed in August and rests for several months to achieve optimal balance. Three types of hops and 6 different kinds of herbs and spices determine the rich taste of this Christmas beer. Top class!
