Goose Island Dapper 2025 Barleywine - 35 CL

Double Bourbon Barrel-AGE Rye Stout—This year at Goose Island, the brewers are celebrating 36 years of Chicago beer. For the occasion, the brewers were fortunate enough to acquire not one, but two separate sets of "birthday" bourbon barrels. Starting with our Imperial Rye Stout, the brewers aged this beer in the first set of barrels for a full year. Because the brewers truly want to showcase these exceptional barrels, they transferred that beer to a second set of freshly aged "birthday" barrels. Raising a toast to another year of incredible beer, these elegant, robust barrels have a spicy and slightly spiced character, balanced by caramelized sugar. As refined as it is delicious, our limited-release dapper Rye is a fête in barrel-aged stouts.
