This iconic release set a new standard for barrel-aged beer. ⁠⁠ This year, in honor of our barrel house’s 10th anniversary, the brewers are reintroducing that exceptional release. This beer’s journey began with barrels that once held the rare and highly sought-after King of Kentucky Bourbon. After a full year of aging in these exceptionally nuanced barrels, our Imperial Rye Stout began to capture the essence of Brown-Forman’s remarkable craftsmanship and legacy. But the brewers didn’t stop there. The brewers then transferred the aged stout into another set of King of Kentucky Bourbon barrels, allowing it to mature for yet another full year. A testament to our barrel-aging heritage, this 2024 Bourbon County Brand Rare Stout showcases a regal barrel expression with intricately woven caramels, rich cocoa, and a luxuriously long finish.
