The 2022 Proprietor's Bourbon County Brand Stout is inspired by a love for cocktails and the vibrant hospitality scene here in Chicago. This recipe was born after two of our brewers, Jason Krasowski and Paul Cade, spent a night out in the city sampling some of the best cocktails the city has to offer. The result is a brewer's take on a Jungle Bird cocktail combining banana, coconut, lime, and a new ingredient to the Bourbon County Stout family: pineapple. The flavors are innovative and fresh, but also share the same expressions found in both bourbon and our Original Bourbon County Stout, yet bring forth flavors distinct from other Proprietor's. Proprietor's Stout will transport Chicagoans to the tropics this Bourbon County Stout season, a welcome escape from Chicago's cold.
