Dupont Monk's Stout - 33 CL

Monk’s Stout Dupont, made with roasted malts, was first crafted in the 1950s in our farm brewery. We decided to revive the recipe 60 years later to pay homage to it. Without an updated flavour, it still retains its original name and appearance. This very dark beer has delightful aromas of chocolate and coffee, introduced by the use of special roasted malts. There is a constant freshness thanks to the citrus notes from the hops. There is no sweetness on the palate, but rather a clean, pronounced bitterness; wonderfully thirst-quenching. Best served at cellar temperature (12°C) or lightly chilled. Monk’s Stout Dupont pairs particularly well with shellfish, sushi, blue cheese, and Moinette Vieux cheese.
