Duchesse De Bourgogne - 75 CL

Duchesse de Bourgogne from Brewery Verhaeghe is the traditional Flemish red ale. This refreshing beer is aged in oak barrels; smooth with a rich texture and interplay of passion fruit and chocolate, and a long, dry and sour finish. After the first and second fermentation, the beer matures in oak barrels for 18 months. The final product is a blend of younger beer aged 8 months with beer aged 18 months. The average age of the Duchesse de Bourgogne before bottling is 12 months.
