This Imperial Stout was patiently aged for 18-24 months in a complex blend of Buffalo Trace and Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels, alongside Brazilian Cachaça barrels from Prosa Mineira. The long aging process creates deep layers of vanilla, toasted oak, caramel, coconut, and soft spices from the bourbon barrels, while the cachaça barrels contribute bright sugarcane notes, spicy nuances, and a distinctive Brazilian character. Conditioned with specialty coffee, adding notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and roasted nuts, and finished with peanut butter cream, which provides a rich, velvety mouthfeel and a nutty sweetness that seamlessly integrates with the complexity of the barrel. Bold yet balanced, this stout delivers an intense and elegant drinking experience, where oak, spirits, coffee, and peanut butter converge in a layered and contemplative barrel-aged beer.
