Rum barrel fermentation is a perfect match for the wonderfully complex Chimay Grande Réserve, with a surprising tropical twist to the mix. Aromas of dried fruit, apricot and peach combine beautifully with this beer’s intense caramel, chocolatey flavour. Bold oak, vanilla, orange and brown candy sugar, the typical accents provided by rum barrels, are layered with subtle notes of hazelnut and almond. 10.5% ABV
