Central Waters Twenty Five (XXV) Stout - 65 CL

Our long-standing relationship with B&E's trees began with a random conversation at the Energy Fair. Eric (the E in B&E's) came over to chat, and a partnership was born that has been nothing short of an adventure for both of our companies. B&E's takes fresh bourbon barrels from us to age in Maple Syrup and then sends them back to us for aging beer. We couldn't do a 25th anniversary series without including these barrels. The stock base is the largest the brewers use in the anniversary series, was aged for three years in the maple syrup barrels and then finished for five months in the twelve year old Elijah Craig barrels. The flavors of Maple and Bourbon are both intense in this beer, a sipper and definitely a bottle to share with good friends.
