Central Waters Twenty Five (XXV) Stout - 65 CL

Our long-term relationship with the folks from B&E’s started with a random conversation at the Energy Fair. Eric (the E of B&E’s) came over to talk, and a partnership was born that was nothing but adventure for both our companies. B&E’s takes fresh bourbon barrels from us to age maple syrup in and then sends them back to us for aging beer. We couldn’t do a 25th Anniversary series without including these barrels. The Stout Base is the biggest one the brewers use in the Anniversary series, was aged for three years in the maple syrup barrels, and then finished for five months in twelve-year-old Elijah Craig barrels. The flavors of maple and bourbon are both intense in this beer, a sipper and definitely a bottle to share with good friends.
