Brewery Sint-Bernardus Prior 8 1988 Dubbel - 33 CL

St.bernardus prior 8 is a traditional abbey beer and sometimes also called a dark tripel. The original recipe dates back to the times when the brewers still brewed under license (1946-1992). With the World Beer Awards called 'World's Best Dark Belgian Style Dubbel', in other words, the best Dubbel beer in the world. St.bernardus prior 8 is chestnut brown, radiates a deep red glow and presents a beautiful rounded head. The beer stands out with its fruity aroma, reminiscent of tree fruits such as red apples, but complemented by exotic accents of figs and dates. The whole is perfectly rounded off by impressions of caramel and roasted malt. The full taste is malty and fruity in equal measure and achieves the perfect balance between bitter and sweet.
