Brewery Sint-Bernardus Prior 8 1986 Dubbel - 33 CL

St. Bernardus Prior 8 is a traditional abbey beer and is sometimes referred to as a dark tripel. The original recipe dates from the time when the brewers still brewed under license (1946-1992). It won the World Beer Awards called 'World's Best Dark Belgian Style Dubbel', in other words, the best Dubbel beer in the world. St. Bernardus Prior 8 is chestnut brown, emanates a deep red glow and presents a beautifully rounded head. The beer stands out with its fruity aroma, reminiscent of tree fruits such as red apples, but complemented by exotic accents of figs and dates. The whole is perfectly rounded off by impressions of caramel and roasted malt. The full flavour is equally malty and fruity and achieves the perfect balance between bitter and sweet.
