It is brewed in the classic quadrupel style and follows the original recipe from 1946. Did you know that on every thousandth label of a 330ml bottle, the Saint Bernard winks? St. Bernardus Abt 12 is a dark, top-fermented beer with a robust, ivory-colored head. It has a very fruity aroma, thanks to the use of our own unique yeast. It bursts with diverse, complex flavors and stands out with its long, bittersweet finish. It's an ideal partner for rich beef dishes and game recipes. It also pairs perfectly with blue cheese and chocolate.
