St.Bernardus Abt 12 is widely regarded as one of the best beers in the world and is the true flagship of our brewery. It is brewed in the classic quadrupel style and follows the original recipe from 1946. Did you know that on every thousandth label of a 33-centiliter bottle, St.Bernardus winks? St.Bernardus Abt 12 is a dark, high-fermentation beer with a robust, ivory-colored head. It has a very fruity aroma that is the result of using our own unique yeast. It bursts with various, complex flavors and stands out for its long, bittersweet finish. It is an ideal partner for rich beef dishes and game recipes. It also pairs perfectly with blue cheese and chocolate.
