Brasserie De La Senne Wadesda #9 Saison Ale - 33 CL

An evolution of the very first Wadeda, a blend of Jambe-de-Bois and Cantillon Lambic, making the Wadeda #9 a Tripel Saison: a stronger version of the original Saisons. It's amber in color and has those typical lambic characteristics: woody with a strong, funky nose of Brettanomyces, quince, and fallen apples. This is followed by white flowers, aged Kirsch, and persimmon, and even a hint of curry leaves. A very wine-like character, as it should be! All of this pairs perfectly with the classic aromas of tripels, such as pears and bananas. Its high alcohol content enhances its body and lends a certain roundness to a finish that is quite dry and almost mineral. Intoxicating and complex, yet refreshing and drinkable!
