Brasserie De La Senne Wadesda #9 Saison Ale - 33 CL

An evolution of the very first Wadeda, a blend of Jambe-de-Bois and Cantillon Lambic, making Wadeda #9 a Tripel Saison: a stronger version of the original Saisons. It is amber in color and has those typical lambic characteristics: Woody with a strong funky Brettanomyces nose, with quince and fallen apples. This is followed by white flowers, old Kirsch and Persimmon, and even a hint of curry leaves. A very wine-like character, as it should be! All this perfectly matches the classic aromas of tripels, such as pears and bananas. Its strong alcohol percentage enhances its rogue elements and gives a certain roundness to a finish that is quite dry and almost mineral. Intoxicating and complex, yet refreshing and drinkable!
