Bottle Logic Technical Challenge 2021 Stout - 50 CL

Bourbon Barrel Aged Jaffa Cake-inspired Chocolate + Orange Imperial Stout • 13.77% ABV • Ready, set, brew! Early last year, the brewers collaborated with our friends at Claremont Craft Ales to brew a Jaffa Cake-inspired Imperial Stout for aging in bourbon barrels. One pandemic and a whole lot of Great British Bake Off binges later, the brewers are proud to present our Technical Challenge to the judges! Technical Challenge is based on a recipe for an Imperial Stout with plenty of chocolate malts and a healthy dose of rye double mash for a bold, resilient body. The brew was finished with Madagascar vanilla and a mountain of Ecuadorian cocoa nibs to build rich chocolate complexity, then infused with Californian orange peel for a bright, beautiful citrus note. Stop by the brewery and try the exclusive barrel-aged variant: Star Baker - which is the Technical Challenge further finished with almonds!
